Why Fluency Games?
1. Student Engagement These games allow students to have fun while they learn. They will strive to increase their accuracy and timing.
 
2. Boost Confidence: As rigor increases, students can become frustrated with the expectations. However, if they are fluent in addition to 10, they will succeed in the next step of addition to 20. They will begin to feel more CONFIDENT and participate more during whole group instruction.
 
3. Review Skills: Standards are taught at a certain pace and it's also important to wrap around to review the skills previously taught. Think about summer slide... skills can be forgotten within a day if not practiced!
 
4. Easy to Implement:These fluency games require no prep or logins! Simply save the slides in your Google Drive or assign them on your LMS such as Google Classroom. I like to copy and paste the link into my daily slides so fluency can be practiced at any time!
